  • New world class golf courses at Indian Wells Golf Resort and Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.  
  • The announcement of the new Delfino Resort at Palm Desert’s Classic Club, to include a $200 million Fairmont hotel; and the new 154-unit Larkspur Hotel in Palm Desert’s El Paseo District.
  • A proposed Mondrian Hotel and Hard Rock Hotel are slated for completion in 2010.  

PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (PSP)

  • PSP’s new $17 million Regional Terminal, opened late 2007, added eight gates to the airport’s inventory, to accommodate current and future projected growth. The new terminal features state-of-the-art passenger information and public address systems, seating for 384 persons, an open-air walkway, and large desert-landscaped courtyard.

GOLF

  • PSDR presently enjoys 115 golf courses with additional courses in design.
  • New Eagle Rock course at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino opened in early 2007.
  • New design and construction of both courses at The Indian Wells Golf Resort was completed in November 2007.
  • Proposed new course in North Palm Springs or Desert Hot Springs in 2008.
